Dillan Loves the temple and always talks about how when she gets bigger she will be able to go inside the temple. So Rusty came home from work and asked if we wanted to go to the Draper Temple open house. We went down on Friday Feb. 6th, and our tickets were for 10:20 in the Morning. (Way to early to drive down there but very much worth it). The temple is beautiful. It was fun for us to go down and be with our family. The only problem was we never got to see the outside of the temple except when we were on the bus that took us up to the temple. It was almost like a tour of all the houses that are around the temple, they are beautiful but we really wanted to see the temple up close to. So the only thing that Dillan talks about was the church that we meet in and the bus ride to and from the temple. We will be planning another trip back there to show her the outside of it. But is was beautiful. It was also fun to not have to think about the house or what needed to be done for the day and just be with our little family, it was some much needed time together.

After gong through the temple we got to have yummy cookies and water. They were delicious. Then we got on another bus to go back to the church.
Heidi,I didn't know you had a blog... Way cute. Plus we went to the temple too AMAZING HU...How did Dillan do on her dance recital? When does she go to lagoon for comp.?
ReplyDeleteKelby is such a good baby he wants to eat every time he is awake. Its hard to keep up. good thing Trever can help. yeah your the only one who hasnt seen him. We will be up there saturday Buddy is riding a sheep at Smithfield Health Days rodeo i think at 3 pm.
