Dillan's 6!

I can't believe that it has been 6 years since we added this spunky little girls to our family. She had been so excited for this birthday. Starting in about April she was asking when her birthday was, and would ask at least once a week. Once she was able to start counting down the days, she was all over it and was letting us know how many days till her birthday, there was no way we were going to forget this birthday.
Dillan has turned into a feisty little girls when she is home. Now it is a completely different story when she is around other people, she is shy and is clingy. But at home she is a different person. She is a big helper with McKay and loves to talk and play with him, and know that he response back to her she loves to play with him even more. She can also go from super happy and helpful to having a complete melt down, some days there are more then others.
Somethings that Dillan loves: The first Grade, Dancing, Her Family, Going to Primary, Music (her favorite singer is Pink) Food (She will try anything and likes most things)

For Her Birthday year she had dance class in the morning so she woke up early and we had donuts waiting for her with candles for her to blow out. She was surprised, after that the day was all about her. When she got home from dance she went and got her hair cut then got to open a present. She was super excited because she got dangly earrings. She has been begging us to wear dangly earrings since she got her ears pierced. It happened that she would get to wear them on her 6th birthday so that is what she got, and she has not gone back to the stud earrings since. Then she got to go meet her 1st grade teacher at back to school night.
We asked her what she wanted for dinner and she said she wanted shrimp and salad, so we grilled shrimp on the grill, with corn on the cob and salad. It was so yummy, nice choice pumpk'n (that's what Rusty has called her since she was 2 month old)
On Saturday we went swimming with my family and had another little party, I was a slacker and didn't want to make cup cakes so we got more donuts and more gifts. She got a groovy doll and a sticker doll book from us and my mom gave her balloons with money inside so she could go get some more school cloths.
We had a blast swimming her and zack have finally decided that it is okay to get their faces wet. Mckay would not eat before we went but he did okay in the water, and nope i did not take any pictures of them there, oh well.
Later this week we are doing a friend party for Dillan, She is so excited and can't wait. It will be the first time she has had one and she keeps coming up with ideas, if we do everything she wants the party may last all day.
Happy Birthday Dillan
